A society is a group of students who share the same interest, such as sailing, singing or flying hot-air balloons. A committee on the other hand has been assigned a specific mission to carry out, for example arranging parties, or working with equality.
Do you speak Swedish?

Even if you don’t speak Swedish there are many different kinds of engagements available. You can still apply to all the societies just like Swedish-speaking students. Many of the committees need volunteers during their events and for that you don’t have to speak Swedish. It is also possible for non Swedish-speaking students to be part of some of the committees. Check out the list of the different engagements that are available for you.
